Energy-saving system reduces energy consumption of vacuum generator and reduces noise

The Energy Saver technology from Antwerp Corp. (Hudson, Mass., USA) is now available on all of the company’s electric and pneumatic vacuum generators for use in composites processing. Anver claims its Energy Saver technology quiets the vacuum lifter, reducing energy consumption and reducing pump wear while maintaining safe lifter operation. This technology reduces compressed air and electricity consumption, which Anver says translates into lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and improved profits.

When a pre-set vacuum level is reached, the Energy Saver system cuts off the vacuum pump motor or the compressed air supply to the venturi pump, which conserves electrical energy or compressed air and reduce noise. The vacuum level is continuously monitored and the pump immediately re-energizes when a vacuum drop is detected, allowing rapid recovery to the preset level.

Anver has developed its Energy Saver technology to reduce operating costs and improve the working environment wherever the company’s electric and venturi vacuum generators are used.. The Energy Saver system instantly recovers safe vacuum levels when needed, protecting the integrity of products handled by elevators..
